Socked out!
Yes, I said it. I’m socked out. 5 pairs is enough for one summer.
I’ve been doing some charity knitting. I finished a prayer shawl for St. Vincent’s program.

Pattern: Striped Feather and Fan Shawl by Trina Brielle
Yarn: Encore Worsted – 3 skeins
Needles: Size 10 Addi’s
began: June 4, 2008
finished: August 12, 2008
This was my easy knitting – feather and fan – gotta love it.
I also had some mystery yarn leftovers in my stash – don’t know what I knit with it originally, but the leftovers were enough for a small baby blanket.

Pattern: Love to Knit Sampler Baby Blanket by Lynn Wilson
Yarn: mystery?
Needles: Size 8 Addi’s
began: August 6, 2008
finished: August 12, 2008
Such a quick and easy knit! I only had enough yarn to complete 3 out of 5 rows of blocks, but I love the way it turned out. This blanket will go to St. Vincent’s also.
My new sock pattern will be available soon – just have to photograph it and it’s done. Maybe next week.
Happy Knitting!

Spirals on your heels and toes – fun to knit and fun to wear. The simple mini cable pattern works up quickly, and the afterthought heel (a modified star toe) and star toe finish off these socks with style!

Knit with ONline SUPERSOCKE on size 2 needles with a gauge of 7 sts per inch to fit a women’s medium foot. For women’s small, knit on size 1 needles with a gauge of 8 sts per inch.

This pattern is for your personal use only. Reproduction in any manner is strictly forbidden without written permission. This pattern may not be used to create items for resale.
