My socks have landed!

Last week I was having a particularly bad day. I just wanted to get home and curl up with my knitting. When I got home this was waiting for me:

An airmail package from the UK. My socks perhaps? From the UK? I quickly ripped open the box and found this:

Goodies, goodies, goodies! Then I opened that little blue package. How lucky am I??

These are the Embossed Leaf Socks from Favorite Socks. How did Anne, my pal, Â know I really wanted to knit a pair of these for myself? And they fit perfectly!! She used Posh Yarns Lucia, 30% cashmere, 70% merino. They are so luxurious! And I love, love, love the colors! I didn’t want to take them off!

 Thank you Anne, for your generosity and kindness. These socks are beautiful and will be cherished. I can’t wait to wear them! And the goodies are great too!

Sock Pal, the socks are in the mail…

Just look for the envelope with the Sock Monkeys on it!Â

 For all inquiring minds out there, here is what is inside the Sock Monkey envelope:

Socks (duh!), the sock pattern, some handmade stitch markers courtesy of my sister, mini chibi’s, “I’m on this row” post-its, and knitting note cards. Is this envelope for you?? You’ll just have to wait and see!

I absolutely love this new Koigu color! I think I need a pair of these socks for myself!
