Mini Cable Spiral Socks Free Pattern
If you haven’t noticed, I’ve put up another free pattern sock down there to the right – Mini Cable Spiral Socks.
Spirals on your heels and toes – fun to knit and fun to wear. The simple mini cable pattern works up quickly, and the afterthought heel (a modified star toe) and star toe finish off these socks with style!
Knit with ONline SUPERSOCKE on size 2 needles with a gauge of 7 sts per inch to fit a women’s medium foot. For women’s small, knit on size 1 needles with a gauge of 8 sts per inch.

Danni, I made one Mini Cable Sprial Sock and it turned out great, but I just guessed at the length, got lucky this time! How do you measure the afterthought heel?

Measure from the scrap yarn placement (which works out the be the end of the heel – about to 2 inches from the back of my foot – might be different on you) to 2 inches from the end of the toe. Hope that helps. Happy knitting!
