One down, one to go.

March 21st, 2007

I finished the first of the rib and cable socks. This sock fits perfectly! It’s warm and snuggly, and I can’t wait to get the second one finished. Let’s hope SSS (second sock syndrome) doesn’t kick in.

I also completed the front of the aran baby sweater. I’m now in SSH (seed stitch hell) as the sleeves are completely seed stitch. You’d think I’d notice before starting the pattern, but I was distracted by the lovely cables.

I’ve also been working on something for the Snuggles Project (Hugs for Homeless Animals). I’ll post about that when I’m further along. If you have some machine washable/dryable yarn marinating in your stash, head on over to the Snuggles Project and see how you can help!

Happy Spring!!

Wow, you are so fast!! LOVE the sock, btw.
I ordered the ‘Bloom’ leaflet after seeing it on your blog, that baby on the cover is too adorable…

Hahaha – SSH – that’s my life right now. I’ll have to remember that acronym. I love the socks. They look great. I’m sending positive vibes to ward of the SSS.
