Good Koigu, Good, Good Koigu

April 24th, 2007

I’ve fallen in love again…with Koigu! No more pooling; absolutely gorgeous colors; happy, happy knitting.

I picked up my koigu pillow that has been sitting alone unfinished for quite a while. It had almost one side finished, and the very beginning of the other started. Here it is now:

One side down, about a half of the other to go! This pattern is interesting to knit. I’m not looking forward to weaving in all the ends, but they’ll be hidden on the inside, so I’m not going to worry about it now.

I also picked up Koigu in color P122 – nice bright, springy colors. I started the Seduction Socks from the Spring Interweave Knits:

The colors appear brighter in the ball then when knit up. And it stripes. Check out the Koiguy goodness:

Oh, I also finished one Uptown Boot Sock:

As Heather said in the comments, Opal on acid! Gotta love it!
